The revised Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) will take effect on October 1, 2026. As part of this reform, WILD DUBACH has decided to come under the jurisdiction of a self-regulatory organization.
With the amendment to the Anti-Money Laundering Act (GwG) and the introduction of the Transparency Register and Legal Entities Act (TJPG), the legislature is tightening the due diligence and reporting obligations for financial intermediaries and for persons who provide certain services related to companies and assets. In particular, providing a domicile for legal entities will be permitted only if it is done under the supervision of a recognized self-regulatory organization (SRO) or under the direct supervision of FINMA, effective October 1, 2026. Anyone offering this service in the future without such supervision will no longer be acting in compliance with the law.
To ensure that WILD DUBACH can continue to provide its clients with unrestricted and legally compliant support even after October 1, 2026, we have proactively decided to place ourselves under the supervision of a self-regulatory organization. This enables us to continue offering the following services at the quality you have come to expect:
- Support for complex real estate transactions and restructurings, including structured transactions and corporate restructurings in the real estate sector
- Providing registered office services for companies, in compliance with the new statutory due diligence and documentation requirements
- Escrow services, particularly in connection with M&A transactions, complex domestic and international purchase agreements, joint ventures, and real estate and corporate transactions in which WILD DUBACH acts as an escrow agent
By establishing a comprehensive AMLA compliance framework—including customer identification (KYC), payment authorization processes, reporting procedures, and internal governance—we ensure that our firm not only meets the new regulatory requirements but also actively helps shape them.
We will, of course, inform our clients as soon as the regulatory supervision is formally in place, and we are always available to answer any questions regarding the impact of the legislative revision on current or planned matters.
